Lectures = Tortures

Posted by CiS

The lectures these semester are all lullaby stories, it's like a challenge to see if you can keep yourself awake, and worst, you'll get a go out of the class if you do fell asleep. GOD! This full of theoretical semester is starting to killing me.

Went to Gym just now with Jiun, Connie, Sze and Michelle. Burnt 200+ Calories only, but it's a good start :)

Will blog more if there is anything interesting

iDream to UK

Posted by CiS

This is an email that had been regulating around the globe lately. I've read, agreed, and will pass this on. This is not about my hatred to the government, this is not even about me. This is the voice of an actual Malay, a doctor residing in London, UK. Please continue to read to see why, UK is better than Malaysia!

"Happiness is not a destination. It is a method of life."

PLEASE READ AND MAKE YOUR OWN CONCLUSION

FOR ME, I DO 100% SUPPORT THE VIEWS OF THIS MALAY DOCTOR LIVING IN LONDON - THE FACTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN OUR BN POLITICIANS

> Subject: FW: Is 1Malaysia Really Better Off?...
>
> Our ruling politicians, when compare Malaysia with other countries,
> they tend to do it only on absolute terms to make Malaysia appears
> better off. This is just another manipulative move to fool the People.
> For those who still think Malaysia is better off in terms of lower
> cost of living, under the rule of Be-End (BN) for more than 50 years,
> think twice! Trust me, it is not in relative terms as pointed out in
> the article below.
> But, I'm not suggesting you leave Malaysia . This is our motherland
> where we are born in. Stay and fight for change! Let us all turn our
> dream into hope, and hope into real change!! Change for the better for
> everyone regardless of our skin colours or our origins!! If Obama can,
> so can we!!

I've gone through Malaysian Studies class, I've heard of many other grumbling why we have to take the subject. Is it about patriotism? What do you intend us to believe you if you can't convince us that you're leading us to the better future we longed of. What faith to we have in 1Malaysia, if it's just one of the many lies, which is still leading us...to where we even started from

SO HERE IT GOES

"Life as a Malaysian"

From here you can easily see that in the UK, you spend about 10-11% of your salary for your monthly needs. In Malaysia, it rises up to about 62-63% of your salary. How can you save money la my dear

How I truly agree to this. P/s I am not trying to sound racist, but then this is a true fact, deny not u?

> So the non-bumi's have to save RM100,000 per year to send their kid to

One is 10% the other is 1000% How do you comment to that?

iHate the Government

Posted by CiS

I hope this is no offence to the Malaysian Government but it's true, I really hate you. At the age of 19, you can say I am still a teenager, not even merely a grown up adult like you all politicians. I am just me....and I am very disappointed, and I hope I would never grow up.

"If you never stop playing, you'll never grow old"

It's not without any reason for hating you. It's not even the commotion you guys have suing over each other in the newspaper. I speak only with my own experience. By this time, it's only college for me, Taylor's University College. It's once a college and if I am not wrong, it is the most expensive college in Malaysia, yet it's still a college.

Why do I choose instead NUS? Any other university would also do. Yet, it's a dream with let me made the choice. Who wouldn't dream of going into a prestigious university, especially to one who dreamed of having a squared hat in United Kingdom. It's an easier route to me than the others. I'm a traveler whose journey has forked roads on after another, that the decision made will never be a U-turn. That's why I chose your college.

What have I learnt from you guys. Your ability of denial, of denying any responsibility or simply providing stupid excuse to get the problem out of your mind. Why you might be so busy think how to sue someone to get a big bag into your bank account.

Not to be exaggerating, my results during high schools were not of top standards, as well as what I am now with the rest of the world, but in the Campus alone, I myself have the confidence to stand among the top. With that still I couldn't even get a loan, a sign of recognition from the local government, the ones whom I've grown up with. I know it might be the difference in the tone which I speak in, or the colour of my skin, or even the religious background of mine. Unfortunately, someone other than that can get all the free access, with tons of help, to those overseas u's. You know I am talking about you, that's why Malaya University has fallen off the graph of the Top100 Universities in the World, even Singapore has three in the list.

I am not trying to offend anyone, nor do I want to cause global crisis with this matter. I am just me, feeling frustrated, about adults....I am just waiting...after 6 months just for a reply, and you are still having both your legs on the table, thinking what you should have for lunch. I forgive you, and I will continue to wait even if I have waited 3 more weeks for another appeal, and now....

I have two parties to wait for...

You can do as you like, just send me an email with only two words - "Not yet." or even give me something like "This is not under my department, I'll divert you the the correct one" or any other bullshit. This is just the beginning, and is also the start of a new era.

 I WILL remember you

iName means

You Are Empathetic and Caring

You are loving, compassionate, and ruled by your feelings.
You are able to be a foundation for other people... but you still know how to have fun.
Sometimes your emotions weigh you down, but you generally feel free from them.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.
You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.
A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.
You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising.
You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

iStarts to Exercise

Sleeping on the sofa would be like heaven, if I were a grizzly bear on a huge and cold rock. Woke up at 5 this morning, surprised that my notebook was turned off. I remembered leaving in on to download movies. Thinking of it more would make it all creepy, so I'll just let it be.

Unfortunately, for the guys...I mean girls over at Leeds, they could barely keep their eye-lids on so they ended their day dozing off. The guy at Melbourne left also going to school. The last one, the other C, was busy in her slumber, as if there was something BIG in her dreams she would like to miss out. Called her but she sounded like someone talking to George Washington.

So I watched Orphan instead. At first I reckon it was some horror movie with ghost coming out once in a while with spooky screams to get you off your chair. It was just some 33 year old posing as a 9 year old orphan. Jeezzz... It should have been better.

Went to Campus next to get the master keys to 'Golden Lion's room, but I was busy with the computer and did not went to check out if the house was still in one piece. They decided to go to the gym. All agreed and went to burn some calories. After 15 minutes, the so called Petsy had some problems: She wanted to go to the washroom due to a minor pain in the stomach, it then worsen till she had no energy to walk, then it turns out she temporarily lost her eye sight, but ended up still all right, except there was a stink bomb in the public women's room.

Next was the night market, it was as cold as ever since the Malays were busy outstation with their Hari Raya after their hard earned starving season.

That's about what happen today, will try to move everything into the new unit. Until then....Au Revior~

I'm......nothing but homeless :(

Posted by CiS

Just got back to Suria Mas. I found out I can't go to Genting and worst I'm homeless for like 2 weeks!!

Gab***el asked me to move out, and two people to change rooms in the same unit, just so that he can earn Rm100 more. What the?! Now it's so catastrophic, Everything is bagged up messily, and I need to rearrange them once more. This is a bad start to everything. I forgot to bring quite a lot of things and I hope my mom will Post Laju them with the keys as fast as possible.

God! Tell me this is not happening to me :(

Selemat Hari Raya

Posted by CiS

It's Hari Raya! As a Malaysian, like what Najib said about 1Malaysia, we are one! Lol. Visited some friends and had some tastiest beef rendang and chicken curry. Just after I came back from kampung, we went back, unboard all the luggage, then we took sampans over the river to visit some friends. We had the best rendang and I was in heaven!

The ketupat was smooth like cotton and the rendang, sweet as it is, had the taste of fresh herbs as well as the juice in the meat. After several house and with a stomach full as big as a donkey, we departed as the night slips in. We took the very same sampan back and enjoyed a cool breeze as well as a night view of the condominium we would buy, once we the choice with good fung shui came.

After the rejuvenating slumber, we got in the vehicle and continue Hari Raya hari-2 with some more visiting. We had a buffet at the first stop with the famous Mee Jawa and rice with different types of tasty meats. Yummy! I like their Beef Rendang too as well as the sweet and sour chicken.

With another big stomach, we went back and decided to do some exercise to wash out the toxins. We went to the factory's mango tree to have a shake. The first few attempts were just acts of other people's thefts. Woods, planks, even tiles showered from the tree following some leaves to end the presentation. It was a deadly fall and luckily no one was hurt. Not long after that, there were tons and tons of mangoes, ripe and underaged ones, falling down like little birds learning how to fly. We collected them and weight the whole bag! It weighs a good 9kg+ @.@

Anybody wants some? Lai lai lai :)

Happy holidays. Selamat Hari Raya

Goodbye Kuching!

Posted by CiS

Just back from tuitioning the little boy and also got my pay from After3. After all these time, I've learnt something important. From the comparison, Giving tuition for 20 hours per month gets you a good income of Rm350 per month. At After 3, after a looong survival of 9 hours a day, 6 days a week, which sums up to about 216 hours per month, the pay is LESS than of tuition!

This implies one conclusion! Education is important!! Heck , never mind la, I just want the experience and the testimonial....HAIZ! I wished the pay would surprise me.. Never mind la...

During this time, I've learnt a handful of things, such as how to balance a cupful without spilling it, how to communicate, how to mentally withstand pain, etc... Also special thanks to my pair of ASICS which I've never really worn, this time I finally made it up to you! :)

It's the last day in Kuching. Paid a visit back to Kampung and it was becoming deserted and deserted day by day. They would be one day when we won't have the chance to visit this beautiful island again. So cherish the times where the beauty could be tasted in the eyes.

Keep having headache these days. The headache seems like a house guest behind my eyes, with totally no intention of leaving. Somebody save me!

Goodbye Kuching, See you in 3 months XD

How do men think?

Posted by CiS

Just back from the movies. MBO cinema has really brought movies in Kuching to a new level. The rising pavement to the movies hallway was furnished with portraits that hasn't been filled with photos and a lovely ascending red carpet. It's up to the standard as well as stylish with a tint of glamour.

There's also a new catch with the seatings. They're having twin seatings so you can get closer to the one next to you. This solves the problem with the cinema in Riverside where people actually crank and remove the 'thing' you place the drinks that's always getting in the way.

Today we - Me, Jiun, Guan, Amy, Hui, Pui, watch The Ugly Truth. This is a great comedy which really lift up the ugly truth in metropolitan cities around the globe. Everyone is sooo caught up with their career the only things that catch their eyes are what could bring you up to heaven, and the next day, you get back to your busy life...Unless there is exception to that.

The main cast is Gerald Butler and he's quite...er...haha, you'll have to watch it for yourself. If you forgot who he is....

This Irishman will remind you of him....if you DID watch his movie

He also starring in GAMER, another movie showing in cinemas...try to get to see em' all.

I was soooo sarcastic when the movie was about to end. I felt my last finger and it feels like something was missing. Then I jumped and shouted oh my GAWD! They all see me..."I lost my RING!"

Everyone else left and the cleaners came, helped me find also. When we left, they were still finding it with torchlight. I called home then baru know I left at home. So stupid. I still taught fell in the box of popcorn. Aduh~ ><

For me, i'll have a break now. Two more days of working...Weeee~~

Tiring like a DONKEY

Posted by CiS

Really fainted today! Non-stop working today, till 3pm then had lunch. It's crowded like hell till everyone's blur where is where. They really are making a hell lot'a money, and I still have to pay for my lunch I had at 3. DUh! I should have Triple pay today.

Heard last night was same. Luckily it's not my shift and I've been dining at 3 points. The guys there must hate me. The denied my 20% discount for staffs cuz I'm a part-timer but I dialed direct to tauke after getting his number from Kiat's text. So pb...haha

Then overnight at Grand Marg. Hotel again. Watch Transformers and realize I left my phone in the tissue box in the car....AGAIN! After that dozed off and snored like hell. (Heard that from my mom and aunt)

So sian to wake to work this morning, night bed but I gotta work :(

NEVER MIND, 5 more days left!!!  GO GO GO!

The first sparkling pearl sled down leaving a trail in its wake. The true feeling from the heart could no longer hold on. These were the last moments from the dear as well as the closest.

I almost could wake up today, but thanks to Chai Chiu Hui, this ah moi, we made it in time. Sorrowful indeed were partings but we need not forget what's lies in the future. In a few years time, we'll be under the same roof, with a toast in hand and stories of each of our own journey. "Zey'r me bestest matey taking off to ze mainland of ze Englishmen."

In a few hours time, the plane to UK will have taken off, with Ing and Ling inside, with another by Chiew chasing behind. These were the few of the lastest whom just started the first page of their journeys.

Though far spread throughout the Atlas, we're still bound together. The will be one where we'll meet again.

This is from me to all those out there, those who've long gone started their journeys, to those whom just started their very first, to those who're going to paint their, a very BEST WISHES in all the paths taken.

I LOVE YA'LL - CiS
